June 15 Now I know I am in Hong Kong13th day back in Hong Kong. I was standing and smoking next to a busy one way street thinking I had never left this place or Singapore at all. Everything seems similiar with each other.
About 10 meters adjacent to the right of me was a parked Police Van waiting to merge into the traffic. Inside sits 3 man in blue and 2 asian 'suspects'. Nothing peculiar here. The one-way road was jam and traffic was crawling. Then infront of me and 2 vehicles ahead of the Police van, a Taxi honks at a delivery van who had stopped right in front of him. The van wanted to do a reverse parking into the space next to the taxi.
The van suddenly stop moving and out came a topless dyed-hair man in bermuda and slippers. His face was all red with anger and started shouting :"TLLM!!! (cantonese 'greeting', go figure it out) XXXXX!XXXX!". As vulgarity pours out like a water fall from his mouth, he approaches the taxi driver who was still in his seat. Mr. blonde continued with his lecturing and started kicking the taxi door challenging the driver to come out. I turn to look at the Police van. Eveyone inside seems to be enjoying the air-con and refuse to come out to the 31 degrees sun.. Mr. blonde had his last kick and went back to his van and continue with his parking. Taxi driver wind back up the windows and moved on after the van was out of his way. The Police Van managed to join in the traffice. Life goes on as usual.
I had my last buff and know I am really in Hong Kong. Comments (2)
